JJF Ltd was appointed by Kier, on behalf of the Canal & River Trust, to undertake emergency civil engineering and specialist brickwork repairs at Tardebigge Lock, with a project value of £900,000. The works were required to stabilise a failing canal lock wall, posing a significant risk to the integrity of the structure and the safe operation of the waterway. Rapid mobilisation was critical, with JJF Ltd deploying experienced teams to assess, secure, and carry out urgent remedial works in a live canal environment.

The project involved structural stabilisation, careful dismantling and reconstruction of damaged brickwork, and the use of appropriate materials and techniques to match the historic fabric of the lock.
